This privacy policy applies to the VociCards app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Oleksandr Miroshnychenko (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (IP address)
- Technical details for support: device model, OS version, and platform-specific tokens
- Personally identifiable information: email address, display name, nickname, Device ID, and learning progress
- Usage data: screens visited, time spent in the app, and learning category preferences
This information is used solely to operate and improve the Application, respond to support requests, and personalize your learning experience.
2. Financial Information and Payments
While the Application is currently free, some features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase in the future. The Service Provider does not collect or store your payment details (credit card information, bank account numbers). All payments and financial transactions are securely processed by the official app stores (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) according to their respective privacy policies.
3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology
The Application utilizes Google Gemini AI technology to enhance user experience, generate customized learning content, and provide word translations. The AI components process non-personal metadata (such as selected language or category names) and user-provided inputs. We do not intentionally transmit your account credentials, profile details, or personal registration data to AI services. However, any information you voluntarily write or input into the AI chat or topic generator will be processed by the AI provider (Google). We strongly advise you not to share sensitive personal details or personal data in your interactions with the AI features.
We utilize both Free and Paid tiers of AI service APIs for all users (including both free and paid subscription accounts). Consequently, the data, queries, and prompts submitted to the AI features may be processed using services where the AI provider (Google) may use this data for service analysis, improvement, and model training in accordance with their privacy policies.

5. Local Storage & Cookies
The Application's web landing page (this website) uses browser localStorage solely to remember your preferred color theme (dark/light mode). No tracking cookies are set. No personal information is stored in localStorage.
Third-party services embedded on this page (such as Google Fonts) may set their own cookies as described in their respective privacy policies listed in Section 4.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to Rectification — You may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right to Erasure — You may request deletion of your account and all associated personal data via the "Delete Account" feature in the Application settings, or by contacting us directly.
- Right to Restriction — You may request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
- Right to Data Portability — You may request a machine-readable copy of your personal data.
- Right to Object — You may object to processing of your personal data at any time.

7. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider will retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data via the "Delete Account" feature within the Application settings or by contacting us at info@vocicards.com. Upon deletion, personal data is removed within 15 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will immediately delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us at info@vocicards.com.
9. Security
The Service Provider implements appropriate physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the Application. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. This policy is effective as of 2026-04-02.
